Do your teachers have legal experience?
All teachers are currently licensed U.S.A. attorneys with experience in the practice of law as well as the art of teaching.
Do I need to be a lawyer in order to take your course?
No. This course is also for law students, judges, legal secretaries, court clerks, and business people that want to expand their understanding of legal English. Not all students may wish to take the Cambridge exam, however, all are encouraged to try.
Do I receive a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the course from Nordic Law Tours?
Yes.
Do you provide materials for the course?
Yes, you will receive a compendium of specially prepared materials by the legal instructors.
Is your course based on USA law, UK law, or Swedish law?
In order to help the students learn and understand the language of legal English, the laws from these 3 countries will be used to teach the terminology. However, this is not a course on the law of any specific country.
Is there any homework?
Yes, but it is optional. This is an intensive course. It is a serious course. The more effort the students put into it, the more benefit they will get out of it.
Where will the classes be held?
The courses are given at Hotel Erwin located in Venice Beach, CA, USA.
What should my level of English proficiency be for this course?
